Wrong license plates

(jd) As part of a general traffic check, officers from the Herford district police authority checked a VW on Lübbecker Straße yesterday (March 12) at 10.10 pm. The license plates attached to the vehicle did not belong to the vehicle, but were last registered to a Peugeot. The VW had already been deregistered last year and had not been registered again since then. In addition, the officers found signs of narcotics consumption in the driver, who is a 43-year-old man from Bünde. He was therefore taken to the Bünde police station to have a blood sample taken. He was banned from driving vehicles requiring a license. Following the police measures, the 43-year-old was released on the spot.
