- "Small firearms license"
Application for a "small firearms license" is now possible here or via the adjacent link (online application).
- Further amendments to the Third Weapons Law Amendment Act will come into force on September 1, 2020. The current Weapons Act with administrative regulations can be viewed on the website of the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community (BMI). For the new reporting obligation for certain magazines (§ 58 para 17 WaffG) / reporting obligation for deactivated firearms (37d WaffG) (so-called "Dekowaffen"), which came into force with the 3rd amendment to the Weapons Act, corresponding application forms / reporting forms are now available in the download area. Information on this and the use of the NWR-ID can be found on the website of the National Weapons Register.
